Renault wins the first GP as the first Megane special editions hit showroom |

Life is sometimes all about perfect timing and Renault has it spot on with the arrival of its New Megane Renaultsport 225 Renault F1 Team special edition in UK showrooms this week, perfectly coinciding with victory in Bahrain for the Renault F1 Team in the opening round of the FIA Formula One World Championship.
The 2005 World Champion Renault F1 Team and Fernando Alonso got the 2006 F1 Championship season and their title defences off to a fantastic start, with Alonso winning a hard fought battle with Michael Schumacher to win the Bahrain Grand Prix 2006.
