It’s The Final Countdown to the 2008 CAMM World Class Mold Making Trade Show

15 Nov 2008

CAMM’s largest trade show is fast approaching featuring over 80 mold making shops that offer a significant discount over the competition world wide due the low Canadian dollar.

Windsor, Ontario (PRWEB) November 15, 2008 -- It’s now just days away from the largest international trade show that has ever been done by the Canadian Association of Mold Makers. Industry leaders from all over North America and Europe will be in attendance at the show next week on November 18 and 19 ranging from the machine, tool, die and mold world, to automotive and aerospace, in order to experience the excellent supply chain opportunities housed inside Caesars Windsor Casino.

Some of the keynote speakers include Tim Coons Director, General Aviation Aircraft Products at Sagem Avionics, who will be speaking on opportunities in manufacturing aftermarket parts and the requirements to certify parts manufactured for aircraft installation, Peter McCormack from Dieffenbacher Group, speaking on advanced manufacturing systems for light weight composite components, and Sandy Munro from Munro & Associates, Inc. who will be speaking on opportunities in aerospace where he will reveal some information that will blow away the room.

Other industry experts speaking will be, Rod Jones from the Ontario Aerospace Council, Peter Hall, Chief Economist from EDC, as well as many government representatives including David A. Valle - Trade Commissioner, Canadian Consulate General, Jim Babirad - EDC, Nancy Creighton - MSBCS, Minister Michael Bryant - MEDT, Gabriela Esquinca - Ontario Ministry of International Trade and Investment, and Remo Mancini from the WEDC.

There will also be special dinner events on both the Tuesday and Wednesday that feature Paul Henderson, the Canadian hockey legend that scored the wining goal against the USSR in game eight of the 1972 Summit Series, the Windsor Spitfires and Roberta Bondar, the first female Canadian astronaut and the world’s first neurologist in space. Dinner tickets are still available for $100; please contact Diane Deslippe at CAMM to order in advance. Also, thanks to funding from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, it is FREE to visit and walk the floor of this trade show. For anyone involved in manufacturing, this is a "must attend" event.
