Phoenix, AZ (Vocus) June 24, 2009 -- Motorhome shipments in 2007 dropped 9.5% after 5 years of record growth. Experts agree that the overall drop is due to the American consumer putting off discretionary purchases until after the economic slowdown abates.

2006 marked the best annual total in the past 25 years and the fifth consecutive year during which RV shipments increased.
