On July 18th RacersReunion.com hosted a live broadcast of the Old School Racing inaugural event at the Music city Mororplex in Nashville, TN. Old School Racing (OSR) brought retired NASCAR legends back to the track for its inaugural event. RacersReunion.com will rebroadcast the entire event along with some exclusive behind-the-scenes clips.
Myrtle Beach, SC (PRWEB) July 30, 2008 -- Some of the greatest drivers of all time competed in this long anticipated inaugural event. They include names such as Harry Gant, Sterling Marlin, Geoff Bodine, Dave Marcis, Jack Ingram, Lake Speed, Larry Pollard, Charlie Glotzbach, Joe Ruttman, D K Ulrich, and Randy Lajoie. After winning the waxing Frenzy Pole Award by setting the fastest time during qualifications, Geoff Bodine brought home the victory and received his Barry Clapp custom designed Copley guitar.
"We want to give the fans who missed the live event a chance to view this piece of racing history", said Jeff Gilder, creator of the RacersReunion Network. "This is the first time these guys have competed in a long time and there were some huge grins among them as they were climbing out of those cars after the race.
