Hands free Micra

23 Oct 2006
Nissan is offering Micra customers free Bluetooth mobile phone integration on Sport and special edition Activ models until December. And don't forget, customers can drive away in a Micra Sport from just £9495 and pay nothing until March 2007.

The Bluetooth works through the Micra's audio system and diverts the sound from the mobile phone through the car speakers. At the same time, the audio sound will be muted and PHONE will be shown on the audio display. Once a mobile phone has been paired to the Bluetooth device, it will automatically connect each time the ignition and audio are switched on, provided that the phone is in range. So as long as you don't change your phone as often as Paris Hilton, you only have to do it once.

The Sport model comes with plenty of standard equipment including air conditioning, 16 alloy wheels, front, side and roof spoilers, tinted headlamps, fog lamps and a 6CD autochanger.

The Activ features a funky red and grey two-tone sportswear inspired interior and a red lined glovebox, plus a leather rimmed steering wheel with controls for the drive computer and six speaker CD/radio. Outside sport bumpers and spoilers and six-spoke 15 alloy wheels complete the look. It's available with a choice of three engines - 1.2 and 1.4-litre petrol and 1.5dCi and costs from as little as £8495 for the 1.2-litre three-door.
