In 2008, the new Volkswager Touareg is coming to North America, and the new Volkswagen is the first SUV from Volkswagen to show up at New York's International Auto Show.
The new Volkswagen is called the Touareg 2, and has a new outer style that has Volkswagen's well-known face-like appearance, which appeals to many American car fans. The new Volkswagen also has the company's famous front grille made of chrome. Other exclusive features of the new Volkswagen Touareg 2 are redesigned headlights, as well as updated aerodynamics, darkened tail lights and a third spoiler on the new Volkswagen. The spoiler of the new Volkswagen has a third brake light. The headlights on the new Volkswagen are Bi-Xenon, which helps to improve cornering visibility at night. The new Volkswagen also has several options of wheels, depending on the trim. 17-inch or 19-inch wheels are the most common. Parking distance control, keyless acess via a stop and start button are other feaures in the new Volkswagen.
The new Volkswagen Touareg 2 has driver assistance systems as well as a new group of safety features, which will help the driver to avoid accidents and improve the new Volkswagen's handling. Some of these are a rollover system, which will trigger side/front airbags; an upgraded tire pressure monitoring system, and braking assistance via hydraulics and rain brake support. The new Volkswagen is also equipped with ABSPlus, so brakes on the new Volkswagen won't lock.
Beneath the hood of the new Volkswagen Touareg 2 are three possible engine options for buyers of a new Volkswagen to select, such as the new Volkswagen's 3.6 liter FSI and other more powerful new Volkswagen engines like the 4.2 liter or 5 liter TDI Twin Turbo.
The 3.6-liter VR6 FSI engine will replaces the normal 3.2 liter in the new Volkswagen., which now will run at 280 hp at 40 above the normal compared to before.In the 4.2 liter engine of the new Volkswagen, the engine has a direct fuel injection system, which produces 350 hp and 325 pounds of torque for the new volkswagen. The Twin Turbo engine for the new Volkswagen, which is 310 hp, can produce 553 pounds of torque and allows the new Volkswagen to pull up to 7716 pounds of weight. In the new Volkswagen, each of these engines are made of the usual high-standard Volkswagen components such as the timing chain. The Touareg 2's standard gearbox gives power to the new Volkswagen's four-wheel drive system, and has several off-road help systems like hill rollback assist or hill descent assist, to help scaling hills in the new Volkswagen easier.
