Garaged all its life, 3 owners until 2003, there after kept within the family and only becoming available now due to a relocation. A service history file for every penny spent supports this beautiful example and gives it a history and story of its own. She drives superbly, she is tight, agile and responsive, the 1.6 feeling extremely lively. The 400 hundred mile trip to bring her back was a breeze and so enjoyable, drawing more than a couple of admiring glances along the way. Additions include factory colour coded hardtop, stand and cover, tonneau cover, Stainless steel kick plates, vinyl screen protector and a front mesh grill which finishes her off a treat. I adore these early examples and this MK1 is the best I have seen in years; no rust (Yep, there is no rust)and original paint throughout, there are a few stone chips but I’m loathed to take them out, it is such a truly beautiful and original example, pass this one up and you will struggle to find better. This 5 deserves a good home and not just because I made a promise to its previous owner!
