Rolls-Royce convertible debuts in France

11 Jul 2007
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the new Phantom Drophead Coupé for the first time in France, at the famous Polo de Bagatelle in Paris.

The two-door, four-seater convertible combines the latest in light-weight engineering technology with the finest hand-crafted materials. Each car is individually built by highly skilled craftsmen and women at the company's world headquarters in Goodwood, on the south coast of England.

Eric Neubauer, dealer principal of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Paris, Automobile ZOL S.A., said, "Based on the positive reaction to the Phantom during the last two years, we have had very strong interest in the Phantom Drophead Coupé and look forward to delivering the first cars in late summer."

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Regional Director for Southern Europe, Marco Makaus, said, "France is one of the principal style leaders in Europe. Based on the interest from customers we have had so far, we are convinced that Phantom Drophead Coupé will be a big market success in France."

This year Rolls-Royce will have a three model line-up, as the new Drophead Coupé joins the Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase.
