Chevy cars not only have fantastic reliable and trustworthy cars, they also have excellent Chevy drivers. Below is a list from the 2007 list of Chevy's Top Ten Driver's Roster. These are the Chevy drivers that are on the Chevy Team. There are also explications on why these Chevy drivers are on the top ten list.
Coming in at number ten is Casey Mears who is part of Hendrick Motorsports. Mr. Mears is one of the only first time winners in the year 2007. He has a great potential to be being one of the great drivers on the Chevy Team.
Coming in at number nine is Clint Bowyer who is part of the Richard Childress Racing. Mr. Bowyer is expected to be a threat of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup season.
Coming in at number eight is Denny Hamlin who is part of Joe Gibbs Racing. Mr. Hamlin had an excellent rookie season and is only expected to surpass that track record during his sophomore season.
Coming in at number seven is Kyle Busch from Hendrick Motorsports. Mr. Busch has impressed everyone on the race car track during his rookie and sophomore years with Chevy. He is expected to surpass all expectations his third time around.
Coming in at number six is the famous Jeff Burton part of the Richard Childress Racing. He is a favorite Chevy driver for all.
Coming in at number five is Dale Earnhardt Jr of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Mr. Earnhardt has not lowered his competitive level at all but rest assure if this were a high school popularity contest, Dale would end up on top.
Coming in at number four is Kevin Harvick part of Richard Childress Racing. If you combined the results from the Busch Series and the Nextel Cup Series, there would be no doubt that Mr. Harvick would be coming in at number one.
Coming in at number three is Jeff Gordon of Hendrick Motorsports. The only reason hy this four time NASCAR champ has been placed number three is only because the number two and one spot have been performing extremely well, but everyone knows that Mr. Gordon is number one on experience.
Coming in at number two is Jimmie Johnson from Hendrick Motorsports who is reining champ with his wins at the Daytona 500 champion, the Brickyard 400 champion, and the NASCAR Nextel Cup champion, he has won more victories than anyone else..
And the number one pick of Chevy drivers is Mr. Tony Stewart of Joe Gibbs Racing and is expected to win the NASCAR Nextel Cup for his third time very soon so other Chevy drivers beware!

Other Chevy drivers that did not make the list but are very important to the Chevy team are Martin Truex Jr, J.J. Yeley, Paul Menard and Mark Martin. Mark Martin did not make the Chevy list of Top Ten drivers because he is unable to race in a full NASCAR schedule. |
