- UP FOR SALE IS A 1991 CAPRI. I PURCHASED THIS FROM A LOCAL MERCURY DEALER. IT HAD COME IN ON TRADE. THE CAR DOES RUN GOOD. IT HAS A 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE TRANNY AND CLUTCH ARE FINE. THE MOTOR PURRS LIKE A KITTEN. AS YOU CAN SEE THE DRIVERS DOOR HAS A LITTLE DAMAGE. THE PAINT IS QUITE NICE IN PLACES AND NOT QUITE SO NICE IN PLACES. CHECK THE PHOTOS CLOSELY. THE WINDOWS DO WORK, HOWEVER THE SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER ARE NOT WORKING. THE BRAKES FEEL OK. THE SHOCKS ARE A LITTLE NOISY. THE DRIVERS DOOR DOES NOT OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE. THERE IS NO RADIO IN THE CAR BUT I FOUND A PRETTY NICE RADIO IN THE TRUNK, THAT I THINK THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS PLANNING ON PUTTING IN IN THE BOX.. THE HEATER FAN SWITCH DOES NOT WORK BUT WHEN YOU DRIVE YOU DO GET SOME WARM AIR FLOW. I JUMPED THE MOTOR AND THE FAN MOTOR DOES WORK BUT YOU NEED A NEW SWITCH.IT DOES GET EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE.OH, ALMOST FORGOT THE LEFT FRONT LIGHT DOES NOT GO DOWN BUT BOTH LIGHTS WORK.
