Rover Coupe 216 16V - Rover Coupe for sale, rare car, turbo lookalike, Charcoal Grey with cream sports interior, 1.6 engine, 115k miles, Mot until end of october, no tax ( was disabled car)
Very good on fuel approx 45mpg + depending on driving style, Drives very smooth and a quick car that has good handling.

The car has M3 Mirrors,pipercross induction kit, a glass tagra top
(removable roof), electric windows, power steering, driver and passenger airbags, 5 alloys in execllent cond,
Car has had a good service that consists of
Brand new clutch and front brake pads ( costed £220) fitted at mot garage.
I have done the following work on the car myself ( I am a very good diy mechanic)
new head gasket ( no worrys there, the engine is mint!)
new inlet manifold gasket ( even better)
new Silicone leads, distributor cap and rotor arm, new spark plugs, good quality semi synthetic oil and new filter, new fuel pipe, new tyre x1, I have also treated the engine and fuel system with amtech engine restorer and fuel system cleaner.
The car will come with a free cambelt and cam locking tool, ( it dosent need done for another 30k miles, but if Im selling the car I dont need it you can have it free)
I was told that the first owner of the car was michael owns current wife, so the car has an interesting history.
Bad points,
has been on a cat d register because of a scratch after some idiot reversed into it it the tesco garage ,
It only needs to have the mot renewed to put back on the road.
Every time you are at the lights some silly boy racer tries to race you in a crappy 900cc fiat crapichento,,haha,,
for the mot it might need ( might even pass without the folloing done)
needs cataylic converter replaced and handbrake adjusted.
I think it would be about £100 to get it through an mot depending on if you buy the parts new or from a breakers.
I am selling due to bought a bigger car and need money for my wedding.
I bought the car about 4 months ago for £450 then spent around £320 on giving it a good service, so for £450 you are getting a car that has had £750 spent on it.

Rover Coupe 1.6 - MOT August 09. Tax end Mar 09. Always serviced & all jobs done as/if needed. VGC. No rust very solid car. Solid. Good Tyres/wheels. T-top roof. Used daily, good in traffic & long journeys. Nice runner & never let me down. Usual few slight scratches as you'd expect with a car this age. Only interior complaint would be inside drivers door arm rest, worn through. Not major & easy to replace. Also needs new solenoid for remote, never bothered to replace as been happy to use keys & expediture would increase selling price.
Resonably priced to sell & cover recent taxing, insurance change over (when i do it )& partial cost of new car. I'd like to see this car go to a good home & someone who will appreciate it please.
Genuine reason for sale is change to Automatic for medical reason.

Rover Coupe 220 16v - Good conditon car in Flame red. Tax and MOT till Feb 2009. Rare full leather trim. Electric front windows and electric heated mirrors. Rover radio cassette player. New gearbox and clutch fitted at 138000 miles, and new cambelt and service done at 139000miles. Speedo doesnt work and the clock doesnt light up. Selling as i dont need 2 cars anymore.
