Shaw scam WARNING with shaw tv, shaw cable and shaw internet

Shaw in Canada have been scamming customers by providing no customer service when try to cancel services, this Shaw scam has been going on for the last year now, they claim to have too many calls that they cant handle but they do not get back to you when you want to cancel a service, this is design so that when your promotion period runs out their prices double and you are unable to do anything about it until its too late and they force you to pay for their overprices service.

Even if you go to their main office in downtown Vancouver (900-1067 West Cordova St. Vancouver, B.C) you will be unable to sort the problem out face to face as no manger is there to help, I was point blank lied to by a member of staff there called Rachael ID number #6294, she told me her supervisor would call me especially when I mentioned I have been trying to contact them for 3 months now!!!!! This all started back at the end of July and its near the end of October! many staff have said they would call back and never have.

Hours upon hours of call waiting, being left on hold for so long that I have had to hang up as I have needed to go out. They offer no option to call your cell phone free of charge as in Canada you pay to receive calls.

The whole system is a joke and designed to retain you as a customer at all costs even when you 100% want to leave!

I have had staff tell me they were asking their supervisor questions and then later telling me they never spoke to their supervisor as the person next to them was able to answer it for them! But did not tell me that until I pushed further to find the truth!

I have contacted the press at the Vancouver Sun and spoke with Gordon Bruce who is aware of the problems and is writing up a story dealing with many unhappy customers in the same position! Contact him on 604 605 2445 he is a very nice helpful person.

Shaw have told me they are trying to cope with a load of new customers and are hiring new staff to deal with it, with such bad foresight should their existing customers suffer! This just shows how badly run the business is especially if they knew they were expanding!

I want to CANCEL my service and I am unable. Shame on you SHAW! SHAW is a scam!

The only way to stop these thief's is to stop paying them until they cut you off or call you back. They have failed at both so far!

Read their Facebook wall its just full of people complaining! Never order shaw tv, shaw cable, shaw internet or a shaw telephone service or you will be stuck with them when they take your promotion off even when you want to cancel months in advance!

Shaw is a scam and should be investigated!
