Three late spring races at famed First State track draw NASCAR notables for first of two 2009 race weekends.
Bethany Beach, Delaware (PRWEB) May 1, 2009 -- Dover International Speedway’s Monster Mile hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ Dover 400, NASCAR Nationwide Series "Heluva Good! 200" and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series "AAA Insurance 200" events for May 29-31, 2009.
The First State’s 40-year-old one-mile concrete oval has treated race fans, up to 135,000 per event, to exciting racing from the biggest names in the sport.

Last year’s late spring race winners were Kyle Busch, who took the checkered flag at the Best Buy 400, benefiting Student Clubs for Autism Speaks, finishing ahead of Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon; Denny Hamlin, who won the Heluva Good! 200, besting Edwards, David Stremme, David Reutimann and Biffle; and rookie Scott Speed, taking the Camping World Series’ AAA Insurance 200, over Jack Sprague, Ron Hornaday, Travis Kvapil and Matt Crafton.
