Irvine, CA (PRWEB) October 6, 2009 -- On Wednesday, October 14th, 2009, K1 Speed - one of the premier indoor karting companies in the country - will host an event with some of the top drivers from the Formula Drift race series to celebrate the final round of the 2009 Formula D season at Irwindale Speedway.
The event, which will take place at K1 Speed Anaheim in Orange County, California between 6-11PM, will be open to the public, making it a great opportunity for drift fans to meet some of their favorite drivers. Featuring a "Meet and Greet" autograph session with some of the top drivers from the league, indoor go kart racing with Formula D drivers and representatives from the media, and a prize giveaway from K&N Filters for the customer who sets the fastest lap time of the evening, attendees will be able to take part in a number of activities and the occasion should provide nearly unparalleled access for fans of the sport. Hosting the end-of-year celebration at K1 Speed’s spacious indoor karting center allows the Formula D organization to add a unique and exciting twist to what would otherwise be a simple public relations event, as the drivers and public will be able to actively participate in kart races and enjoy an authentic racing atmosphere.
