Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) November 5, 2008 -- As CEO of Mundus Group, Inc. since 2007 I have overseen the company as it goes through the growing process from being a developmental aerospace technology company into an aerospace VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) manufacturing and Production Company. Having just completed a necessary 100 to 1 reverse stock split in order to maintain operations, we are pursuing our goals of delivering our patented VTOL flying car with product sales worldwide clientele and a growth niche in the emerging UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) Drone industry.
History in the Making:
Mundus Group’s subsidiary, Roadable Aircraft is the VTOL innovator which had begun in 1990 with its first successful prototype, had won the Best Invention of the Year at the Discovery Channel Invention Convention in 1993 and went on to build its 2nd prototype which was co-developed with the US Navy under a 3 year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement and was awarded a US Patent for VTOL Flying Car in 2002.
Further development at the NAWCWD (Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division) at Pt Mugu California included the building and flight-testing of RAI’s 3rd prototype and first VTOL UAV in 2004.
RAI’s 2004 UAV was co-developed and built by AirStar, which at the time was a world leader in remote controlled helicopters for both the military and movie industries. AirStar brought technical remote controlled expertise as well as development of the flight control systems that became pivotal in the manned VTOL flying car concurrently under development. That strategic relationship has remained in tact with plans for re-emerging in the future with a world-class product line. That time is now.
As of September 1st, 2008, Mundus Group and Roadable Aircraft (RAI) welcome the return of Josef Joebstl and AirStar back as head of RC, the Remote Controlled Unmanned Air Vehicle (RC UAV) technology team. Mr. Joebstl was an integral part of the 2003 RAI team who developed and built the UAV VTOL (Vertical Take off & Landing) Vehicle at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division Pt. Mugu, California. Mr. Joebstl has been overseeing his niche business of serving international government agencies as well as Hollywood’s commercial and movie production industry for 25 years, with state of the art, cutting edge action footage and breathtaking views from his remote controlled VTOL vehicles- helicopters fitted with optics and movie cameras.
As we approach completion of our VTOL vehicles, we are advancing our stride towards acquisitions that will provide an established foundation upon which Mundus can focus on development of its array of individually unique, niche ducted fan vehicles with applications that are positioned for immense growth as industry analysis predicts.
Our next agenda has been to complete the development and production of our 2 passenger KIT VTOL flying cars currently being marketed in 4 kit phases for a kit replica of RAI’s first US Navy co-developed and patented VTOL Flying Car.
These are exciting times ahead for Mundus and Roadable Aircraft. We are ready to launch our vehicles and bring the friendly skies to the world. I invite you to participate in our growth plans and be part of our Historical purpose.
Best Regards for a safe and prosperous year,
Josef Obermeier
Mundus Group CEO / President
