The 2007 Bentley Arnage has kept its old-money prestige and has added wood trim to just about every area visible. Most of the other competitors in the market are promoting their precision engineering and enhanced refinements.
A majority of the competitors in the arnarge price range are using a 12-cylinder engine but under the body of the 2007 Bentley Arnage is a 6.8-liter V8 which is twin-turbocharged. The new turbochargers have increased the output of the previous engine by 50 break horsepower across all the 2007 model range. However the Arnage is not the most fuel efficient vehicle doing 12 mpg. The Arnage had a wide stance and really looks like its there to do business.
The driving quality is exactly what you would expect from a highly priced luxury car that is based on a slightly ageing platform and would greatly benefit from a complete overhaul to match the quality of the newer range of Bentley cars.
The Bentley feel inside the Arnage is consistent with previous models, well known for acres of room with an ostentatious feel. Due to an increasing demand for technology inside the Arnage, there are some strange layouts that can be confusing as the car is based on a design that was created many years ago.
If you are thinking of emptying your bank account to buy a Bentley Arnage you may want to also consider the popular Maybach 57 as well which has more up to date engineering or the Rolls-Royce Phantom. If you must buy Bentley then the Continental Flying Spur is the one to go for however the Arnage is rarely seen on the roads and has a great presence on the road and if that''s what you looking for then the 2007 Bentley Arnage is the perfect match for you.

Arnage R
Arnage T - 50 break horsepower more.

All models are fully loaded with 18-inch wheels, parking sensors front and rear, Bluetooth, DVD navigation, power front seats featuring four-position driver memory, reclining rear seats, tri-zone climate control, xenon headlights.

The 2007 Arnage T produces a whopping 500 break horsepower with 738 lb-ft of torque there is a new transmission which is an automatic six-speed which rockets the car from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
The Arnage R and Arnage RL both have the same break horsepower of 450 and a 645 lb-ft of torque.
When it comes to safety Bentley always fully load their cars and the 2007 Bentley Arnage is no different with airbags for the front and rear passengers on the sides and head positions. There are antilock brakes, front and rear parking sensors, stability control, tire-pressure monitor and traction control. The Arnage has not be crash tested by any agency yet but the Arnage has lots of space at both ends that would likely take the impact.
The old English feel inside the Bentley Arnage is continued from previous models with lavish leather and wood finishing creating a very ostentatious feel. There are some amazing upgrades available for in car technology including DVD, dual-screen LCD TVs an MP3 six-disc CD changer made by Alpine and most impressively for the businessman on the move a personal computer with wireless keyboard.
Upgrades in the coming years need to be made to the indicators stereo and navigation system as they have a cheap feel to them.
There is nothing that comes close to the space that the Arnage has to offer in the back with more than enough room for five people to spread out.
There is more than enough power in the 2007 Bentley Arnage, plenty of torque and huge brakes. It would be nice to have more feel in the steering and directly proportional throttle to brake. Regardless the Arnage has tremendous speed and easily absorbs any uneven road bumps and blocks out road noise on open motorways.
Overall the 2007 Bentley Arnage is ranked up there with the world''s most luxurious and finest cars but the price tag may have you looking at other options.
The Arnage has great acceleration with loads of room and beautiful styling but the controls are confusing and it guzzles fuel.
