The BMW 7 Series is a large car but its looks are deceiving with a lean design and more composed drive than the Mercedes-Benz S Class.
When it comes to comfort the BMW 7 Series is very comfortable but for passengers with longer legs sitting in the back the larger Lexus LS or Mercedes-Benz S Class would be better. The interior is stunning with great seats, packed with equipment. Most models from the late 90's have parking sensors and satellite navigation.
The handling on the 7 Series is impressive, it responds exactly as the driver instructs making it an agile ride. Even though the 7 Series is a large car it is very flexible fast car even on bendy roads.
Performance from the V8 engine is strong and steady when it comes to acceleration and there is very little noise from the engine and road.
With regards to fuel consumption the six cylinder 728i can produce over 25 miles per gallon. The BMW 7 Series is known to lose value in a large way and the 7 series cars for sale from the mid-Nineties are very cheap to buy now because of the high running costs. |
