The 2009 GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali are full-size body-on-frame sport-utility models that are mechanically similar to the standard GMC Yukon models, along with GM’s Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and Cadillac Escalade. But exclusive powertrain and luxury features set the plush, luxurious Denali models apart from the rest of the line and warrant this separate review.
