- This CJ is road ready and a real eye catcher. I am a college student and the parentals arent allowing me to keep it any longer. When I bought it, the electrical was a mess and it needed a good investment. I took it right to Herdz garage located in Nashville and dropped almost 3000 dollars (I HAVE ALL RECORDS TO PROVE). There is so much thats been replaced and redone its unbelievable. It runs damn near better than cars on the road today. It passed emissions and is road ready. I believe its got three inch lift but I cannot confirm that, it just sits SO high up for it not to be. Also it is sitting on Wild Country Radial TXR's 33x12.50x15 with chrome wheels. It has strong granny shifter and I dont even start it out of first just second cause you can literally pop it on two wheels in first if you want. Below is a list of replacements from the shop. - Up for sale is a rust free1984 CJ7 that I purchased for my wife to drive. She can't drive a stnd transmission. She has an SUV that she drives on a daily basis and I don't need to keep it and pay insurance on it. It has great paint and is rust free. It has a set of nice doors and a good hard top. It was originally a 4 cylinder motor with 230000 miles on it. It had an engine fire with that motor. I purchased it in Oklahoma with a freshly rebuilt 350 engine as well as a freshly rebuilt 350 turbo transmission. It has new alternator, electric fan, radiator, dominator carburator and many other parts. I have had the jeep a little over a year and spent alot of money on it. The transmission is adapted to a dana 300. It starts easily and runs awesome with a very mild cam. Ther engine and trans have chrome all over. It has a very good set of 35" all-terrain tires on chrome 10" wheels. It has a newer 4" spring lift with shocks. It has a new front drive shaft. New starter solenoid. New Fog Lights. Slightly used windshield wiper motor. 15” Crager soft 8s chrome, with 35” Dunlop Mud Rovers. - Up for auction is a 1976 Jeep CJ5. It has the bullet proof 4.2L in-line six cylinder 258ci engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The paint is a pearlized brown color. It has a small body lift of about 1 inch sitting on 31 inch mud terrains with locking hubs in the front. It also comes with a black soft top including full soft doors in ok shape and a bikini top. It has a tow hitch and D-rings on the rear bumper. This is a fun Jeep. Mechanically sound. The brake and exhaust systems are relatively new. The original ignition system was upgraded to a more reliable electronic ignition. It has upgraded disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. The frame is in excellent condition. The body has had some work done, but it looks good as you can see from pictures. The interior is ok. The original speedometer works, but the rest of the gauges have been replaced with aftermarket units.
