The Acura MDX is a fun to drive mid-luxury SUV with superb handling making the family style seven-passenger MDX a safer vehicle to drive, complementing the handling is a 3.7 liter V6 with 300 brake horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission. With the current technical combinations the MDX despite weighing in at 4600-pounds is capable of 0-60 mph in a little over 7 seconds.
With regards to Fuel-economy the MDX meets the top CARB and EPA emissions standards and achieves 15 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.
The MDX is similar to other in its class with a sleeker less boxy shape without an extreme compromise to the interior space and currently ranks top of the charts.
The styling of the MDX may put some people off as Acura have gone for a more futuristic look with a slightly unsightly front grille. A sporty interior with bucket seats gives the MDX a nice ambience and there are multiple standard and optional features to choose from if you wanted to change the configuration.
