- 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII This car has been a pleasure to have the last few years that I have owned it and have no doubt it will prove to be a strong car for years to come. The DOHC 32valve 4.6l V8 is the same motor that was used in the Mustang Cobra and truly makes this car a Hot Rod Lincoln. The motor runs quiet, the transmission shifts smooth, and the the mechanical parts of the car have been meticulously maintained and replaced as needed over the years. Every 10,000 miles or so the motor would get a seafoam treatment to blow carbon deposits out of the engine to keep it as efficient and powerful as possible, the oil I have used is Mobil1 synthetic (changed every 3000 miles), and the ignition system has been completely upgraded to a high output/efficient MSD system with iridium spark plugs (less than 4000 miles ago). - Up for sale is a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII 2 Door LSC Coupe with SVT emblem and wheel package. Well maintained and garaged. Runs fantastic; car recently passed its yearly inspection. Car is fast and so much fun to drive. I get lots of compliments on the car. The air suspension makes the ride extremely smooth. Since the car has SVT rims and wide tires, I also purchased 4 winter tires last year, Blizzards. So those are practically new. The body styling and chrome wheels absolutely make this car a real head- turner. To drive one truly does give a sense of road ownership. Sunroof Not a Convertible - (can't get convertible deleted off the listing). Who ever purchases this auto will love it. Everything works well, the dash is very cool. Please see pics. The auto is not mint; but it is in fantastic condition inside and out. An item to note, I had a small size paint smear, near door handle.
