Mercury Monterey 1955 Mercury Monterey - Well here it is everyone, a fine example of a 1955 Mercury Monterey. This red and white Mercury has not been driven or licenses since 1983 which you will see on the rear licenses plate. This Mercury has factory A/C by mercury, power brakes, 292 C.I. V8. Also the factory fender skirts, am radio, red and white interior, red carpet, clock, factory rear window, cold air louvered off and on induction as shown in rear window pictures, and the clear plastic tubes for the a/c, which are ducted to bolt passenger and drive side persons which you will see in the pictures. Now here’s the real kicker, this Mercury Monterey only has 49,000 actual miles on her, just look at the vin plate it looks brand new, but it is actual 53 years old. You will see that this car has not been driven hard in the pictures. Also factory dual exhaust as well. The front hood chrome is in the rear seat, along with the new front window, the body chrome is a 8 out of 10-10 being the best. The body is a 9 ½ out of 10. The only rust I’ve seen is in the spare tire troff and that is minimal. You will need a carpet kit. Just look closely at the pictures. This 1955 Mercury Monterey is not owned by sawyers motor sports and we are not reasonable or liable for anything in-on or around this car. This car has a clear title, by Mister Earl Wayne. This 1955 Mercury Monetary is being sold as is. The 292 C.I. V8 purrs like a kitten-transmission also works well. The 4-barrel carb does not need to be rebuilt it works like new. This car was ordered with factory under coating as you can see in the motor compartment. The bottom front seat will need to be redone, and the driver side door handle as well. This car came with red cloth interior with gold stitching.
