This is not a kit car as it was built professionally and sold as a new car only, for more on the story click on this link: http://www.fiero.net/mera/ Perhaps responding to backyard mechanics attempting to glamorize their Fiero, a special Ferrari-type body kit titled “Mera†was available for the 1987 model. Corporate Concepts in Capac, Michigan produced it. At the time Magnum PI was a popular television series featuring Tom Selleck. He played a private investigator whose mode of transportation was the often-borrowed red Ferrari 308. Why not produce a “body†that resembled that vehicle? The Fiero Mera option was made available through Pontiac dealerships sold only as a new car. No kits were ever sold separately. A total of 88 1987 Fiero GTs were converted into Meras. Another 159 Fiero Meras were produced and sold for the 1988 model year bringing the final production number to 247. - I have to sell my 1987 Fiero GT. The car is in excellent condition. Start it up an drive it antwhere. A/C, Cruise control, power windows, power door locks. Transmission shifts smooth with no problems. The paint looks good, but it has 2 flaws as shown in the pics. It has a blemish on the passenger side under the door, and some chips on the nose. I have a brand new never installed nose bra that will cover the chips, and it is included with the car. The only performance modifications are a new Hyper chip, a free flow exhaust, and a cold air intake. It has an Alpine am/fm/cd player, with 4 speakers that sound great. It does have one minor problem. When the car gets to over 70 mph, there is a vibration in the front. I was told by a mechanic that it is either alignment, or the tires need to be balanced, or both. I cannot afford to spend any money on the car so it will be up to the new owner to take care of this. - Used Pontiac Fiero for sale

- Thank you for looking at this auction. I am selling my project car that I have been building and acquiring all the parts for over the last 5 years. First the car is an 1985 Pontiac fiero 4 speed with only 13,980 miles. I then purchased another vehicle which had the 1985 IMSA fiero Body period correct as it was manufactured from diverified glass products which produced them for pontiac racing and this body number is 84PSRRF111 - these were very limited and is all original. the wheels are centerline and are all 16 inch 9" wide up front 10" wide in the rear. Yet to install but comes with the auction is a new cluch arm and all parts neeeded to install as well as new hoses for the radiator.
