- FOR SALE 1979 TRANS AM SILVER ANNIVERSARY 403 CI 6.6 LITRE LOADED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, NO RUST, I AM THE THIRD OWNER, THIS SOLD NEW IN BISMARK NORTH DAKOTA, THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD THE CAR REPAINTED IN 2000. THEY HAD IT ALL PAINTED SILVER BECAUSE OF THE EXPENSE TO TWO-TONE AND HAVE THE DECALS INSTALLED. THEN SHE SOLD IT IN 2007, IT WENT TO RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA WHERE I PURCHASED IT. THE OWNER I BOUGHT IT FROM HAD SPENT OVER $5,000.00 ON ORIGINAL ENGINE OVERHAUL, TRANSMISSION REBUILD, NEW EXHAUST, NEW TIRES, FRONT SEAT COVERS, AND OTHER THINGS, ( IN 2008 ALL THIS WORK WAS DONE,) I HAVE ALL THE RECEIPTS. I PURCHASED IT MARCH OF THIS YEAR, I HAD THE DARKER GRAY COLOR PAINTED, COMPLETLY BUFFED AND THEN ALL THE DECALS AD STRIPPING APPLIED. THE A/C HAS NOT BEEN REINSTALLLED BUT IT WILL COME WITH THE CAR. IT HAS HEADERS AND A AFTERMARKET INTAKE AND CARB. I DO NOT HAVE THE THESE ORIGINAL PARTS. SPARE TIRE AND JACK ARE STILL INTACT. - This is round 2 of the Y88 Cars I will be selling..... This one has a partial build sheet, so again, I did not find it necessary to run a PHS.....It is an obvious Y88 WS6 car, and the build sheet has both of those and the L78 spelled out very clearly. This one is better than the last one, but still needs a bunch....I would suggest both rockers and quarters replaced for show, or patch for driver..... It needs some floor patches, but did not appear too bad, and the trunk is same way. (We did not see any holes in the trunk with a cursory check, it has the space saver and jack in it just for the record...........) Front fenders could use patches at the bottom, and the hood is so-so. We have goofed around with this one a little bit, and have "bumped" the motor after giving it a good soaking of mystery type of product in the cylinders, and it moves over fine.. (It was driven to where we picked it up.) Smells damp inside from sitting, and will need the full interior rehab. - Used Pontiac Trans Am for sale

- Up for auction is a 1979 Trans Am 10th Anniversary 4-Speed car, This is a very nice car. It was completely repainted about 8 months ago, all new decals were applied,it has a rebuilt engine in it, has about 8000 miles on it, it also comes with the numbers matching short block engine, the original heads are on the new motor, the matching numbers transmission was just rebuilt, with a new clutch installed, it has new leather seats, this car is orginal no changes just the way it came in 1979, it runs execellent and looks even better, this car turns heads where ever you go! - It has No title issue it was someones Mistake at a DMV 1981 Firebird Trans Am T-top Special Edition Black and Gold loaded 4-wheel disc brake WS6 package Y84, Turbo Wheels i did a engie swap ---- now It has 350 TPI motor off of a 89 GTA Transmission is a 700R4 off of a 89 GTA (this transmission is good for low end and highway) Rear End is 3.84 LSD 10 bolt 3" inche Dual Exhaust with Headman long headers, 3" Cherry Bomb Glasspacks and H pipe all the gauges are connected and they all are working.. only the clock dont work.. Body of the car is in great shape, paint is not, recommend a new paint job.. i have gold decal set except the bird.. all the carpets and seats are new, dash has a crack control arms and swaybars have new bushings.. it has surface rust on the subframes, it started after i cleaned the subframe in the summer.. all it need is a cleanup and a undercoating... has casstte player instaled in to original face plate.. - Very nice 1978 Pontiac Trans Am with the 6.6L engine. This is a true code 19 19 Starlite Black Trans Am with gold graphics. The 50,000 miles are believed to be actual but are undocumented. This car was ordered without T-Tops but does have the factory gold 3 spoke steering wheel, center console, rear defrost, power steering, and power disc brakes. Still has the original Posi rear end with 3.23 gears. The wheels on this car are brand new Year One "Snow flake" reproductions that look excellent, with brand new matching dunlop tires This car runs very well, and is quite powerful. Has an upgraded CD player with remote. The paint and interior are not perfect with some imperfections, but in overall good condition, The automatic transmission shifts smooth, brakes work very well, drives smoothly at any speed with no rattles. - Up for bid is a 1981 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Recaro Nascar pace car. The car is original and needs to be restored. CAR DOES NOT RUN. IT HAS BEEN SITTING 15 YEARS +. It has not been started in awhile , it has old gas in it. IT CANNOT BE DRIVEN HOME. BODY/ INTERIOR: The body is very solid with rust on the hood that was stored off car and leaked on for years ( a perfect rust free hood is included in sale/ see picture). There is rust on the underside of the trunk lid. You will need a trunk lid I do not have one. The is a very small amount in trunk that can be patched. The fenders, doors, and quarters, floors are solid. It still has the Recaro interior that needs to be redone from sitting. The door panels are missing but are available from classic industries for $400 new. The dash has a crack in it. The windshield is cracked. It has original red lit stereo still.
