IVE LOOKED HIGH AND LOW AT THESE CARS AND I CAN SAY WITH CERTAINTY THAT THIS ONE IS A KEEPER. THE A/C IS STILL INTACT AND SO IS THE COLD AIR INDUCTION HOSE. THE DASH IS MINT ,THE MOTOR HAS VERY GOOD OIL PRESSURE @80 POUNDS WHEN FIRST STARTED AND IS USUALLY OVER 40 WARM. THE REAR SEATS LOOK NEW THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT IS ALSO VERY GOOD THE BAD SIDE: THE CAR IS 30 YEARS OLD IT ISNT PERFECT BUT IT IS VERY NICE FOR THE YEAR. THE CAR IS THE CLASSIC 20 FOOTER(LOOKS MINT) BUT UP CLOSE IT HAS SOME FLAWS IT HAS BEEN REPAINTED ONCE IN ITS LIFE. IT WILL NEED A HEADLINER,CARPET AND DRIVER SEAT RE DONE TO BE SWEET. - THIS IS NOT LETS MAKE A DEAL just bid NO RESERVE 1980 TRANS AM RUN AND DRIVES. [ MOTOR TRANS 301 ] TUNE UP AND BRAKE WORK . needs paint and body work the trunk lid is bad i have a new one that gos with the car . the trunk is clean no rust. the floor on the passside front needs work all the rest of the floor are good. the subframe is good . doors pass side needs door skin driver side door is good . Quarter Panels on passenger side lower by the door a rust hole, the quarter panel lip is fine on that side, driver side lower quarter panel rear has surface rust and the lip area on that side is fine. Front fenders lower both sides a little bit of rust. Hood as you can see it has rust. Interior driver seat looks like it has been replaced it is the wrong material. Headliner needs to be replaced. The rest of the interior is good except for the dash. It has dash cover. Motor and Trans original. 301 drive train. I just put new intake gaskets on the motor. The car runs and drives. - THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!! A 1979 T-TOP Y84 SPECIAL EDITION TRANS AM. IT IS A 403 MOTOR(ORIGINAL MILEAGE IS 88K AND 500 MILES ON REBUILT)... TAN INTERIOR 19L 19U BODY COLOR. I HAVE THE PHS COMING FOR THE CAR. AS FOR THE BODY IT HAS BEEN REDONE IN 2004 AND IS NOW STARTING TO SHOW SOME BODY WORK IN THE BOTTOMS OF THE FRONT FENDERS AND AT THE BACK OF THE REAR QUARTERS. THE ROCKERS ARE AWESOME AND THE FLOORS ARE VERY NICE ALSO. THE TRUNK IS NICE BUT IT HAS 1 SPOT THAT IS 3"X3" THE PAINT IS OK FOR AN AMATURE JOB. IT HAS NEW DECALS ON IT. THE INTERIOR IS ALL THERE BUT NEEDS WORK. NO RIPS BUT IS WORN IN THE FRONT SEATS. THE DASH HAS SOME CRACKS. THERE IS SOME SWITCHES IN THE COUNSEL? AND THE DOOR LOCKS HAVE BEEN MOVED THE THE COUNSEL ALSO? THE BACK SET IS NICE BUT THE PLASTIC HAS BEEN PAINTED A LIGHT COLOR. - I'm selling my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. In decent condition. Black with black interior. 455 buick big block. TH350 automatic with B&M stage 1 shift kit. Brakes are good. Transmission is good. Hurst Dual Gate shifter with pistol grip. New paint. New decals(including gold bird on hood.) New pontiac emblem on hood. Gold 15X7 snowflake rims with new Kelly Chargers on them. New center caps for the rims. New windshield. New exterior door handles. New steering wheel, horn, headliner, dash cap, door panels, seat covers, and carpet. All the fender flares are there and in great condition. The mileage is approximate. The only rust on the car is a little bit of surface rust in the trunk, and one small hole on the passenger floor. It definitely could use some work. The most major thing it needs is an exhaust. Everything else is mostly small stuff. (Small stuff that would've been fun to work on if I had the time)Reconnect speedometer.(No idea why it was left disconnected when I bought it) Battery tie down. - I am selling my 1976 Pontiac Trans Am. The car has the original "numbers matching" 400 engine & it runs & drives great. The 4spd manual transmission shifts nicely, the car always starts for me & I feel confident driving it anywhere. There is no rust or dents - It's just a very nice clean car that has been kept in original condition (except that the interior had been reupholstered). Approximately 2 or 3 years ago I had the car repainted the original color & had a brand new sticker kit put on. Also I had a brand new exhaust system put on as well. - Nice 1975 Trans Am. This Trans Am has no options, I've never seen another like this one.This car is exceptionally solid and original. The mileage reads under 79,000 and I believe it to be correct but the title is mileage exempt. The motor starts right up and the car runs strong and drives good. The paint is nice, it was repainted some time back and has a few chips but this car looks good. The interior is in excellent shape with a perfect dash and all the lights and gauges work properly. The glass is nice and the doors shut easily. This is a very solid TA that runs and drives well that looks good and is bone stock. The title is clear and open. - you are bidding on a 1981 pontiac trans am. cars was origally a 4.9 l turbo. that motor is no longer in the car. it has a 455 with an automatic transmission.this car is pretty solid underneath. frame,rails,trunk are completely solid. car does have some blemishes, but it is a project car. lower left front fender starting to get some rust on it, driver door skin at the bottom is rusted thru. passenger side door has a small dent in it that i think can be popped out. driverside door handle is broken, and both doors will need pins put in them. floorboard is also very solid. will need carpet and a door sill on the driverside. vehicle does start and run, but will need a battery,it is dead. will also need a muffler, they guy i bought it from, when he loaded it on his trailer to bring it to me he smashed the muffler and its rubbing against the driveshaft.it has camaro rims on it, but i do also have the pontiac rallies with good tires on them also that will go with it. - Used Pontiac Trans Am for sale
