- 1968 Buick 225 Custom (Very Hard to Find!) Especially for this price being this clean This car fired right up and runs very smooth. It is hard to tell that it is even running. I was very surprised when I looked inside of this one. The interior is extremely clean. The seats looked almost like new. It has a little sun damage to the interior and a cracked windshield but is at the same time in amazing condition. Take a good look the body is in incredible condition! There is some rust on top. It is only surface rust. You can practically wipe it off with a finger. This car has been in the California high desert. Things don't rust there like they do elsewhere in the country. Every car that I have brought to San Diego from the lot with this same rust have cleaned off with fine san paper or steal wool. So any of you living over on the East Coast, This is not rust as you know it. This stuff could go on probably for 60 years and still not eat through the metal. - Used Buick Electra for sale

- This is a solid 1962 Buick Electra two door hard top. It has a 401 cu. in. 4bbl nail head engine. The interior is the bench seat with Blue Cloth and vinyl bolsters and appears to still be usable with some TLC. Door panel are also in good shape. The engine runs and the car drives. It has not been on the road for quite some time and the overall condition is unknown, so consider it needing at least an overhaul. The body is solid with good rockers and quarters. Floors and trunk appear solid and good shape. The car is straight and my estimate is over 98 % complete. It may be missing few parts. Take a look at the pictures; it does have a few small dents and a minor right side blemish on the quarter behind the door. It is in overall Good solid, straight condition. The front fenders and the hood appear original and operate smoothly. The car has power windows and (I think) a power drivers seat. - The Electra 225 was the top of the line Buick for 1960. Although the Electra 225 was first introduced in 1959, the 1960 model cars were modified by mounting the redesigned bodies on a K-member frame and the body was modified by adding highly polished, stainless steel ribbed lower body panels. The Electra 225 was the fanciest and plushest Buick offered during the period and was powered by a 325 horsepower, 401 cubic inch overhead valve V-8 engine which was coupled to the famous GM Turbine Drive automatic transmission. The chassis had a wheelbase of 126" and featured independent front suspension and a rear axle with coil springs. The convertible was the most expensive model produced with a base price of 4,192.00.
