- I am selling a 1987 shelby CSX # 680 of 750 produced. This is a rare vehicle, and one of few that were built in 1987 in Carroll Shelby's whittier factory in his time of partnership with Chrysler corporation. For those who are unfamiliar with these vehicles, in 1987 Shelby took the dodge shadow (csx), charger (glhs) & lancer the final production models from the assembly plant and modified them with an upgraded high output 2.2L turbo intercooled engine, stronger lower engine, custom 2 pc intake manifold, and a new an improved version of the garrett turbocharger, and a SHELBY valve cover in place of the standard chrysler turbo cover. This particular vehicle recieved very little interior upgrades, recieveing a shelby steering wheel with Carroll Shelby's autograph ingraved in the spoke, a dash plaque signed and production # of vehicle, CS sill plates, shelby boost gauge and a shelby badge above the glove box in place of the original shadow badge. - Used Dodge Shadow for sale
