- The Jaguar E-Type (UK) or XK-E (US) was a British automobile manufactured by Jaguar between 1961 and 1974. Its combination of good looks high performance and competitive pricing established Jaguar as an icon of 1960s motoring. E-Types were a great success for Jaguar selling over 70000 cars during their lifespan. From the engine to the red leather interior all the way to the new convertible top great care has been taken to bring this car to show quality condition. The car features cold air intake the original radio new tires new brakes & rotors new exhaust and a new convertible top with the original booth. Additional features include a rebuilt transmission rebuilt engine and a recently painted exterior. The original chrome bumpers have not been refinished however they are in great condition. As you can see from the pictures the interior is in fantastic condition with new door panels refurbished seats and the original carpet. - Hi - Thank you for viewing my auction... Here is a primrose yellow Roadster with Air Conditioning and several extras... Included is the rare convertible hardtop in matching pale primrose! To my knowledge no other E-Type convertible sports a hardtop that matches the body color perfectly. Also, there are wire knockoff wheels (plus special hammer), new seatbelts, and the highly desirable 4 pipe exhaust system. I replaced the rag top in 1996 and never used it, preferring the hard top or none at all. The soft top is very dark and stiff, ready to go if you need it. This is and always has been a California car, with minimal rust, wear and tear. I am the second owner of this beauty and have cared for her attentively for the past 15 years. She runs well and I have tried to drive her twice a week. The burble of her engine is truly like the purring of a cat. The Odometer has not turned over - the 78K miles are original, and to my knowledge the engine was rebuilt once by the original owner. - Used Jaguar E-Type for sale

- BEAUTIFUL, SEXY SPORTSCAR!! E-TYPE TWO SEATER COUPE! Everytime I have driven this car heads would turn!!! I purchased this vehicle in 1996 from a classic car dealer in Rehobeth, Maryland. The car is off-framed restored (engine and paint) and it purrs like a kitten! There is 60K on the engine. I am the third owner and have maintained the car in the garage. There are no dents or dings, beautiful paint job in 2003, no rust on body, no mechanical issues, new aluminum radiator (Howe - to prevent overheating in hot weather) was installed last year, interior in excellent condition - leather seats. I installed a new radio with a cassette deck four years ago. New battery, brakes, oil change, tune up completed etc. Because of my schedule, I do not drive the car that often maybe once or twice a year. However, I have always maintained the seasonal tune-ups and oil changes. The master jaguar mechanics that specialized in E-types have all the service records for reference. The goal was to build a safe, reliable, and competitive road race car. The vehicle is a 1965 Series One Jaguar painted Viper Blue with twin White racing stripes. The car was converted to RHD (Right Hand Drive). The engine is a 4.2L Jaguar motor with High compression Head, and Three Webers, making a conservative 375 HP. High Compression Venolia Pistons, light weight Crower Billet CNC Rods with 3/8 rod bolts. The crank has been nitrated, radiused, balanced. The motor is Dry Sumped 4 stage Weaver Pump, remote oil filter and cooler, All AN and braided steel plumbing through out. About everything on the car was either restored or replaced. Car looks as it would have brand new on the showroom floor. Includes restoration pictures and documentation. The type III was considered a long body version for its V12 and automatic transmission. Another attribute is its stretched frame catering to taller people making this the ultimate exotic classic for any profile. She sits on the desired 15 inch wire wheel with a fairly new set of Michelin white wall all season tires and brand new knock off chrome wire wheels. Although the radio is original it has been updated with XM and bluetooth. The Original manual is included. This car scored 99.82 with the first judging and then a 99.93 for a Concourse judging. Chassis # 875947 was restored approximately 15 years ago and remains in wonderful and serviced condition throughout. Chassis # 875947, Engine # R2336-9, Gearbox # EB 603 JS, Body # R2214, this E-type shows mileage of 54,335, although possibly original, it cannot be confirmed. The original colors on this car were Old English White over Red, it is the 947th LHD Open Two Seater and was built in late October of 1961. It's an early build car with matching numbers. Exterior: Paint is in good to very good condition and has been treated to Griots' products as often as possible in its previous ownership.
