- This is a very low mileage Lotus Esprit with only 2 happy owners. I bought this car 5 years ago on eBay. The previous owner had it as a hobby car and was only driven 12,000 miles and kept in a heated garage with a collection of exotics. I was using the car as a daily driver until about 3 years ago when I went back to driving a motorcycle which I have been driving for 35 years. The reason for the sale is that I now only drive the car a few times a month. The car is in great condition. I did a 1600 mile road trip to Indianapolis 5 months ago. The cars performance was flawless during the trip in 95 degree heat. It is a 1993.5 transition model and as such is a SE/S4 hybrid with features of both models such as the larger S4 cabin but not the high mounted spoiler (Recently, there has been a lot of misinformation about specs and model types.
