- 1985 ASC McLaren Capri (Mustang) - Very Rare Hatchback Here is a nice original (55,000 miles), rare ASC McLaren Capri Hatchback with a 5.0L and a 5 speed manual transmission. Most of the McLaren's you see are the convertibles, but they did build a very limited number of 150 Hatchbacks in 1985. ASC McLaren's were built in Livonia, Michigan. I'M NOT SURE ON THE MILEAGE BUT THE LAST RECORDED MILEAGE IS 80,000 SOME MILES THE ORIGINAL ODOMETER SHOWS 98,000 MILES BUT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO IT STOPPED WORKING SO I CHANGED IT AND I'M NOT REAL SURE OF THE ACTUAL MILEAGE. THE ENGINE CONSISTS OF A 1985 STOCK BLOCK BUT FRESH BOTTOM END WITH ALL NEW BEARINGS, NEW .498/.498 LIFT HYDRAULIC ROLLER CAM, NEW 1.6 RATIO ROLLER ROCKERS SETTING ON TOP OF FRESH GT40-P HEADS, FORD MOTORSPORT TALL VAVE COVERS,NEW WIEAND STEALTH INTAKE,NEW HOLLEY 600 CFM ELEC.
