Recent work that has been completed is as follows: New battery, bushings, brakes, light pods, spark plugs and wires, points, rotor, distributor cap, crossover radiator pipe, thermostat, a lot of lights, fixed brake lights and switch, a new cover for when the top is down. - I am listing this 1974 MG MIDGET CONVERTABLE For a friend of mine. This is a relisting. I had received emails pertaining to the possible rust on the floor boards, trunk, etc. I have included pictures of these areas and want to add that there is no sign of excessive rust at all. I haven't a lift to take photos of the Rocker Panels, but I have felt the Rocker Panels with my hand and found no excessive rust to be concerned with. As I've stated in the listing, this MG has been well cared for and is in EXCELLENT condition. This well maintained MG has been garage kept and maintained by a local Foreign Car Care Center. We have a working Odometer that reads 41,104 miles, but we can't guarantee the accuracy. This MG is in very good shape with a few minor chips on the hood edge (as pictured). - This is a nice running 1973 MG Midget, which can be driven to the new owner's home. The interior needs to be restored again, and the engine runs however, it appears it needs to be rebuilt again because it just started producing white smoke from the exhaust. I was planning on rebuilding the engine and new interior however I'm accepting another contract and will be out of country for another year, and just hate to see this little guy just sitting in my garage when someone else can enjoy it. The Midget comes with extra parts to include a new vinyl top. It also comes with a nice looking Toneau cover, and an original Official owners manual. I hold the clear title in my name. The bad news is, the engine runs nice however it just started producing white smoke, and there is the typical fender rust in the right side front fender. - Up for sale is a very nice 1975 MG Midget with very low miles. I would rate overall condition of the vehicle as good to very good! The exterior looks great! The convertible top looks in good shape with some yellowing in one of the vinyl windows. Interior is in very good shape for its age! I drove the car and it runs great. Everything on the car is fully functional to my knowledge. I don't know a lot about this type of car but it looks and runs great for an almost 35 year old car. I am listing this vehicle for a local dealership in the Chicagoland area. Listing may end early due to being advertised on the lot for sale also.
