- Listed is a 1987 Porsche 944. This car has had 5 owners including me. Carfax is clean and clear of any accidents or any major defects and can be furnished upon request. I purchased this car with the intention of having something to drive on the weekends or restoring, but funds for restoration aren't there and I also have a 4 year old daughter and cannot put a car seat in the rear. I know almost nothing about this car other than it runs easily goes in and out of gear reverse works well, still has a pretty stiff clutch with no slip, stops when it should, brake lights and headlights work, and the car starts every time I need it to. - For sale I have my 1985 Porsche 944 2.5L 5-speed. Ive owned this car for 2 years now. I have installed a new clutch, water pump, and timeing belt. The car is very solid with no play in the trans or rear end. The paint is very glossy, seems it's had a paintjob within a few years before i bought it. There are 2 dents where someone in parking lot backed up in it. Small dent in front left bumper and rear right bumper. You can see the two spots in the pics i posted. Other then the 2 dents the car is in excellent condition for it being 25 years old. You will be amazed how well this car handels. I need to get rid of her to help make a down payment on a new house. I just had the timing belt replaced, oil seal gasket replaced, and all of the cooling system hoses replaced, and a brand new battery installed 10 miles ago. So the next owner will not have to do any kind of maintenance for about 20,000 to 40,000 miles. The car has been incredibly well maintained with genuine Porsche parts and skilled labor. The important timing belt changes have been done (every 20,000 miles on these cars), and all other required maintenance has been performed. - I am selling a project 1988 944 turbo in good running condition. The car has a light rear damages that will needs body works and tail lights. It has dents all around and needs new paint. Engine and transmission run perfect. It has a bad alternator, so it have to be towed away or can only drive a short distance until the battery drained out. The interior still in very nice shape. There are some cracks on the dashboard. The car needs alot of works, but the engine and transmission alone worth the money. This is a great car for a race conversion or just fix it up for everyday driving. I was going to turn this car into a race car, but got into an accident and broke my hand.
