- The VIN on this car is JHMED9367MS010106. You are bidding on a 91 Honda Crx Si. I am only the second owner of this car! I bought the car stock from the first owner in North Carolina. This car has no rust , and the original owner was a Honda tech who re-ran the rear water drain lines so that the car wouldn't get the infamous rear quarterpanel rust. The actual mileage on the BODY of the car is 316,857. I bought the car with 311,057 miles on it on Jan 16, 2007. I drove the car for a brief time with the oem motor in it, than put in a 2000 Acura Integra GSR motor with a YS1 93 GSR manual cable transmission. (2000/01 was the last year that the b18c motor was made before the b-series became a k-series) I am not a K series fan due to all the motor regulations, it is all aluminum, but will only rev to certains points, you must redue the entire ecu to add aftermarket cams or pretty much anything else, and I feel that the whole motor has been tuned done due to emissions. - 1989 Honda CRX Si Coupe: A very hard to find car...Let alone with only 71K documented miles on it. Arizona car since new that runs and drives excellent. Original 1.6 Liter engine. New $1200 paint job (factory color-orig. paint was slightly faded from AZ sun), New window tint, New seat upholstery (Black synthetic leather material with red trim and CRX logo embriodered on seat backs)- custom fitted and professionally installed over factory seat foam at a local shop, New JVC CD stereo (Still has the factory EQ mounted beneath it- Sounds way better than the old stock stereo), New tune up including wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Timing belt and water pump where replaced at around 57K miles. Original Alloy wheels (clear coat on the wheels is peeling-they should be stripped and polished or powder coated). I INSTALLED THE NEW REPLACEMENT MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION WHICH ARE THE EXACT SAME AS THE OLD ONES. THE SHELL (BODY) OF THE CAR HAS 163,000 MILES AND THE ENGINE HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD A LEAK IN THE RADIATOR AND OVERHEATED THE MOTOR. I WILL PAY (PRORATED) FOR AN ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION FOR YOU FOR THIS CAR IF YOU DO NOT GET AT LEAST ANOTHER 100,000 MILES OUT OF THIS EXISTING POWERTRAIN. YOU MUST SHOW ME YOU CHANGED THE OIL REGULARLY AND CHANGED YOUR TIMING BELT, WATER PUMP AND TENSIONER EVERY 70,000 MILES.
