- 'Tis the season - to be cruising! You are viewing a gorgeous 1964 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport, dark blue/saddle tan interior. It sports 4 NEW custom wheels and tires, newly detailed engine compartment, a beautifully upholstered trunk that matches the interior; power steering; front disc brakes; 350/350; electronic ignition; custom woodgrain Grant steering wheel; electric fan and tranny cooler. The original Super Sport wheel covers, steering wheel, rare black Calif. plates, radio, California Cover, repro owner’s manual, and some other goodies go with it. All gauges work except clock and odometer (the speedo is inaccurate). Unknown if positrac, and seller believes rear end is stock. There are a few paint blems, but it never fails to fetch a lot of attention and thumbs-up. No tears in the upholstery or headliner, and I know of no rust (it's a very dry climate here ). - Up for auction is a very nice 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS I would consider the condition as a very nice driver quality. It runs and drives well. It starts easily, drives straight and stops well. I hate to let her go, but I’m out of space. As you know, the only way to authenticate a '71 or '72 SS is with the build sheet, protect-o-plate or original window sticker, none of which we've been able to locate. However, this undocumented Chevelle SS has all of the correct SS options, e.g., cowl hood, F41 suspension, remote mirror, glove box light, etc. The dash appears to be out of a '72 Chevelle SS, due to the "seat belt warning light". The vehicle is equipped with a non-original 396 BBC, Turbo 400 transmission and 12 Bolt Posi rear end. It is also equipped with factory A/C (not working - compressor, condenser and brackets not installed, but go with purchase). The interior is in good driver quality condition. - You are bidding on a beautiful 1971 Chevelle convertible. The previous owner had it 33 years and bought it from the dealer as a 1 owner car. He did a body off restoration around 20 years ago at which time tons of work was done including the frame being sandblasted,re-inforced and painted. Please read his notes describing the work at the time. It has not seen rain or inclement weather since-(always garaged). It was repainted about 5 years ago and is straight and beautiful. The interior is immaculate. Everything works on the car including the aftermarket cruise control. It is an original cranberry red car (code 75) with factory stripes and saddle interior as indicated on the build sheet. It has the original 350 motor and automatic transmission,front disc brakes,power top,power steering. It was an original bench seat car. - Up for auction is my 66 Chevelle Super Sport 138 car. I bought this car in 2002 in rough shape and restored back to a stock configuration right down to a date coded 396 and M-21 trans. After 4 years of trailering car around and numerous awards at shows and 2 Autoramas and also a magazine feature (March 2009 Muscle Car Review), I decided to change up and build what you see pictured here. I finished car in its present form in Oct. 2008. I drove about 900 miles this year and I can say that honestly this is the funnest car I have ever driven. Car placed in top 5 at both Northern Ohio Chevelle Club show and Northern Chevelle show near Buffalo, NY. this past summer, and was driven to both shows. The 12 bolt rear end is not original to the car but is the correct 66 rear. It features the factory posi unit that was rebuilt with new clutches and heavier springs along with all new bearings and Moser Axles with 1/2" studs. - Used Chevrolet Chevelle for sale
