Lotus Esprit
- The S4 and S4s were the pinnacle of the Lotus Esprit line. From its inception in the early 70's, the Esprit has always been designed as a 4 cylinder car. It evolved over the years, and even though it had a lot of growing pains, the Esprit still maintained a uniqueness in that it was an exotic supercar that was able to keep up wiht the best of them while only using a 4 cylinder engine. The final evoltion in this car came in 1994 and 1995 with the S4 and S4s models before it was replaced by the V8 Esprit in 1997. The S4 and S4s really had a lot of the troublesome areas of the car worked out, and were refined and advanced enough to make good daily drivers. - This is a 1998 V8 in very good condition. The body has an excellent finish, never been in a wreck. Please note the car does have 32,500 miles on it, BUT a Brand New Crate Engine from lotus was placed at ~30,000 by BMW of Southbay ( formally Lotus of SouthBay as well), Hermosa Beach, california just prior to me purchasing the car. By their report it had defective engine cam covers and require new engine. I have the paperwork to support this and also contacted Dave Simikin, director of Lotus USA to verify this is, and this is what in deed happened prior to my purchase. I have since had the car for 2 1/2 years with NO issues!!! Recently I had the wheels powder-coated black, added a push button starter and recent new brakes/filters and oil change which were done only 100 miles ago... Basically this a an extremely strong running car with and engine/power train that is almost brand new!! ( The cost of a new engine from lotus itself is around $40,000). - Used Lotus Esprit for sale

- 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo!! We just got this car in the last owner has had the car since 1993. Car only has 17k miles. Its a 4 cyl turbo, 5 speed , cold air. I drove the car about 200 miles. And the car runs and drives great. The interior in the car is like new no rips or tears in the leather. The windows are a little slow going up and down but I was told they all do this.
