- 1964 LOTUS ELAN DHC S2 - RED I have owned this car for the last 25 years. It has been totally rebuilt over the last 3 years to showroom condition, no expense spared. Just needs the badges on to complete it, I have them but havn't put them on because of risk of ruining the new paint. VIEWING RECOMMENDED!!! - 1967 Lotus Elan +2 Zetec This car was rebuilt by the previous owner with a Spyder chassis and a Ford 2l Zetec engine and gearbox upgrade . It is finished in White, with a black interior. The conversion has retained the original Lotus suspension and brakes, this keeps the standard wheel track which helps keep the classic look of the car. I bought this car with the intentions of having an different track day car, but I have never got around to using it on the track. Subsequently it has done very limited mileage in the 2.5 years since I bought it (less than 500miles!). The interior has re-trimmed front seats and a drop down rear seat from a later +2. The car isn't a show car, but it is a good usable car, and with the Zetec conversion is reliable and economical enough for every day use. There aren't that many +2's around, and they rarely come up for sale these days. It's on historic road tax (i.e. free) and it costs me Ā£300 per year to insurance the car fully comprehensive with agreed value. - Used Lotus Elan for sale

- Selling this due to me buying another car and don't have the space to keep it. I have a folder stuffed full of invoices from previous owners and shows thousands of pounds spent on it, it's been really looked after. It has full service history with booked stamped full and additional sheets stapled to service book to show full history. Last service was carried out by myself (an experienced vehicle technician-www.remaps.org.uk)and included oil and filter with fully synthetic mobile 1, NGK spark plugs, new front brake discs. Previous work I have done includes new "A pillar seals" drivers side water tight but passenger side leaks slightly from top corner only when it rains heavy. I had to shim n/s window runners to get a decent seal against new seal and because of this electric window only goes down half way before it gets tight, rather have this than water leaking in, however if you spent time adjusting door this could easily be sorted, I don't do bodywork so I live with this. - Used Lotus Elan for sale
