- The body has several small dents and some of the decals are worn. There are several small rust spots on the hood, but I haven't noticed any rust elsewhere. Porsche did a much better job of rustproofing in this period. The 'S' model 924 featured the 2.5 liter engine found in early 944's and is a great improvement over the older 924's from the 70's. Over $3,000 was spent on the engine after I bought it, including all new seals, waterpump, timing belt, gaskets, hoses, thermostat, etc(have all receipts). The engine purrs now and is the strongest feature of the car. The car also has 4 new Michelin tires, less than 8 months old, new brakes on the rear, new alternator, battery, air filter and rear hatch seal. - Used Porsche 924 for sale

- This is a 1978 Porsche 924. As you can see from the photos the car is a great candidate for restoration and would be an easy car to turn into a real head turner. For 2 out of the last 5 years the car was parked inside a garage and has not been driven much. The car is currently in need of a battery witch I will provide when sold, needs little work and it could be running in the street (its JUST TLC nothing major). The body is not in a good sound shape and has some areas of rust. It does have some small areas of surface rust around the window trim (nothing serious). The paint is in poor condition. The interior is fair, with ripped seams in both front seats. The headliner, dash, and rear seat are in pretty good shape. As I stated above the car does run BUT NEEDS HELP, as with any car that has been sitting for a couple of years it will require some work to be road ready TO RUN FOR YOU. I am willing to assist with loading on a trailer or tow vehicle or if you register it we can hold it here for ne week. - Used Porsche 924 for sale
