I am proud to offer a rare, beautiful 1981 Toyota 2 Wheel Drive Truck in original condition. This is an excellent example of a vehicle that has been cared for, loved and driven in California and Nevada all its life. If you have been looking for a factory Diesel Toyota Truck with excellent fuel economy and in stock condition, look no further, this is the vehicle for you. This vehicle has been cared for, as it shows no sign of abuse or aftermarket modifications. This is a stock 2WD truck with a clear title, factory 2.2 Liter Toyota 1-L Diesel Engine, 5-speed manual transmission and all of the OEM equipment (minus an aftermarket Pioneer CD player) intact and fully functional. This truck drives and feels like a much newer vehicle.
Visually, the truck’s original tan paint retains much of its original shine and luster with very minor blemishes and would make an excellent restoration project for the true Toyota enthusiast. These trucks are becoming harder and harder to find due to the limited number of factory diesels produced, California smog exemption, and the huge demand for biodiesel conversions. These diesel trucks average in excess of 38-plus miles per gallon and have been known to run forever.
